Chiaki (千秋 Chiaki) is a minor character in Ju-on: The Grudge, portrayed by Kaori Nakajô.
Biography[]
Ju-on: The Curse 2[]
Her voice is heard along Saori's and Ayano's in the last segment. They found a Sake bottle (probably the one Kyoko left years ago) and noticed a woman who was looking at them outside the house. Then she is killed by Kayako along with the other two.
Ju-on: The Grudge[]
A little more is explained about their deaths, Chiaki was friends with Izumi, Saori, Ayano, Chiharu, Miyuki and Hiromi. One day, she went to the Saeki house along Saori, Ayano and Izumi to visit the Saeki house after they returned from a school trip.
Izumi felt something was wrong even before they entered the house, and once they did, she couldn't stand it anymore and decides to run away, leaving the three there alone who were soon taken by Kayako. While trying to burn the house, Yuji Toyama had a vision of them being killed by Kayako.
After the incident, Izumi began to be haunted by the ghosts of her classmates to the point of becoming disturbed by it. Eventually, they appeared and chased her through her house until she was cornered and taken by Kayako herself.
Etymology[]
- The name Chiaki means "thousand years, many years" ().
Trivia[]
- In a deleted scene after Izumi has been taken, her, Chiaki's and Ayano's faces appear besides Yuji's and Izumi's faces. Shimizu explained he dropped the scene because he thought it would either be ridiculed or take the focus away from Izumi's death and place it on the entire group instead.
