Taiji Suzuki (鈴木泰二 Suzuki Taiji) is a character from Ju-on: The Curse 2, portrayed by actor Mizumura Taizo. Taiji is a sensitive elderly man and the father of Tatsuya and Kyoko, from whom she inherited her extrasensorial abilities.
History
Taiji was married to Fumi, and kept his extrasensorial abilities hidden from her, to avoid a possible retraction. After his daughter became seemingly possessed, Tatsuya took her to his house where Taiji revealed to him and his wife that she was born extrasensorial abilities inherited from him. As the grudge curse reached Fumi through the possessed Kyoko, Taiji was haunted by the ghosts of a woman and a boy, and was taken as well, leaving his cursed grandson Nobuyuki alone.
Aftermath
Investigators Iizuka and Kamio recollected the mysterious events leading to the Suzuki family deaths while watching over Nobuyuki.

- Taiji is the only male sensitive character in the Ju-on films.
